👋 Hi, I’m Abdullah Safi. Nice to meet you.

As a Data Scientist at eHealth NSW, my focus is on developing data-driven solutions that effectively enhance medical systems at local and state levels for relevant agencies and non-government organizations.

Recently, I earned the Bachelor of Advanced Computing (Honours Class 1) and the Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney. Under the supervision of Professor Athman Bouguettaya and the Sensors, Clouds, and Services Laboratory, my thesis project “Unobtrusive Monitoring for In-home Quality Ageing” was produced in collaboration with industry partners InteliCare and NSSN.

My specialisation lies in the confluence of data science and medical science, and I aspire to leverage the skills from both disciplines to aid in improving health outcomes for individuals in the community. I am passionate about utilizing data to facilitate the detection of diseases for early diagnosis and personalized medicine, which is an integral part of my research interests.

In my leisure time, I enjoy engaging in strategic games such as chess, basketball, and gaming.
